“HI, We have the TV going 13-14 hours per day every day. Have a 2008 Samsung 42 plasma that is going strong and same quality picture as new 15 years ago. Can I expect equal life span from this OLED TV given our use? Thanks”

Hello there. Thank you for reaching out. For the LG - 55" Class C2 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart WebOS model: #OLED55C2PUA On average, LG TVs last roughly 100,000 hours if they use OLED technology. However, the number drops to about 60,000 hours if it's an LCD TV. Other factors such as the usage and environmental elements also play a role in determining the lifespan. `Jai.

It's a wonderful TV and one of the best you could purchase but in general, things just aren't made with that longevity in mind anymore. I'd definitely get the extra warranty no matter what model you buy considering the 13+ hours/daily you'll be putting on.
