• I have had 4 LG TVs and never had a problem - everyone comments on the picture quality.

• I've not been a fan of Sony TVs. I generally prefer Samsung, but the quality of this television will have me taking a closer look at LG in the future.

• You should go to Bestbuy to look at all the displays. I personally like Samsung TVs but purchased the LG & am happy with the LG. You could also research & compare the Sony & LG to see which best fits your needs.
