I had a little bit of blur out of the box but I was able to get rid of it simply by changing the tv off of the Vivid picture and making sure my cable box was set to 1080p instead of 720.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there is motion blur. Make sure however that the blur is entirely from the TV itself and not your internet or cable connection
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I have noticed it a few times. Just purchased this tv about a month ago. Very dark screen at times. In vivid mode the details of the background is sharper but the people are orange.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not football season so I can't answer for watching sports yet, but I have not noticed any motion blur while watching movies.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm currently in the market for a new TV because of what I'm assuming is "motion blur" on this LG model. It doesn't even have to be a sporting event for it to be an issue. While watching a movie where a person is walking past a picket fence the person has a digital "glow" around them which I find VERY distracting. I might expect such substandard performance from some bargain basement TV but I didn't think this was one. I'm told that some people are more sensitive to this phenomenon and I may be one but I won't be buying another LG TV because of it.
