Nothing you can really do about it. That "blocking" effect that is especially noticeable on dark and black scenes is a result of the streaming companies, cable companies, etc. compressing the signal that they send (more efficient for them). It really does get annoying, especially when you've spent a lot for a 4k t.v. Go to Youtube and view some uncompressed 4k/HDR videos that people upload on there, and you'll see how amazing it will look on your t.v. Unfortunately, the bulk of your viewing from Netflix, Hulu, cable companies, etc. will result in you having to see a downgraded picture because of the compression. It almost makes me regret buying a 4k t.v.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you need more info on what you were watching. was it sd, hd or uhd or tv? what was source? DVD/Blu ray /Netflix?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I may be off on this but I've had a similar experience on a few things. I'm pretty sure it just has to do with it not meant to be "completely" black on that particular program if that makes sense.
