“I got the tv all set up, but my Dish Network remote does not control the volume on the tv. I can change channels but not the volume. Any solutions?”

I had the same problem. You can do a 'link up" with your remotes for on off. It actually works. I was amazed!! Point the top tip of the LG remote at the Cable remote left side where there is a black little box (very close) press the on off button and hold it. The light on the cable remote button labeled TV will light up. Wait a few more seconds and there you go.
