I don’t think it’s a must with the audioquest cables in my opinion all of my cables are Audioquest from Pearl, forest, cinnamon, chocolate, carbon, sky, and ocean. I’ve tried them all on my new tv and even tho the sky, and ocean are the only ones that say 4K UHD 2.2 they all seem to work great and I can’t tell a difference in picture or sound quality
