The salesman told us we had to buy the Firestick 4K in order to get 4K quality but when we installed it, we didn’t see any difference. Is this Firestick necessary? Why would we need this if the TV is a 4K already? null

The TV is capable of 4k, your source media needs to be in 4k as well to play at that quality. that's why they recommended it.

The tv is 4k with built in apps no need for the fire stick but just because the tv is 4k doesn’t always mean the content your watching is 4k
