We have not found it to be super picky but you do want to roughly match the sizes to get the most efficient cooking. The burners are about 10.5, 8, 6.5 (x2) inches in diameter.nAs an example, the bottom of our teakettle is about 5.5 inches and it works fine on the 6.5 inch burner.

This range is designed to work effectively with various pan sizes, but it does require that the cookware is compatible with induction cooking. If the pan is too small or not suitable for induction, the burner may turn off automatically. The range features five burners, with sizes varying to accommodate different cooking needs. For optimal performance, we recommend using cookware that closely matches the size of the burners.
