  • QuestionHow is this model different from model LSIL6336F?

    Asked by Jeff.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG Range. The LG LSIL6336FE model is the high-efficiency version of the LSIL6336F range. The key difference is that the LSIL6336FE is more energy efficient, likely due to minor software tweaks to meet Energy Star requirements. • QuestionThis model is priced almost double that of the LSIL6332FE. Can you please advise on how these 2 models differ?

    Asked by ChristieW.

    • Answer Hello there! Thank you for your question about the LG LSIL6336FE and LSIL6332FE slide-in electric ranges. We understand that you're comparing these two models, and we're happy to provide some insights into their key differences. Here’s a breakdown of how the two models differ: Key Features: Oven Technology: LSIL6336FE: Features ProBake Convection®, which ensures even and consistent baking by using a fan and heating element at the back of the oven for faster and more efficient heat distribution. This provides better cooking results, especially when baking or roasting. LSIL6332FE: Has Fan Convection, which also circulates hot air for even cooking, but it does not have the advanced ProBake Convection® system, meaning it may not distribute heat as efficiently as the 6336FE. Air Fry and Additional Features: LSIL6336FE: Includes Air Fry, offering a healthier alternative to deep frying with no oil required. It also comes with an Air Fry Tray, Temp Probe, and a Smart Diagnosis™ feature, which helps troubleshoot issues via the ThinQ® Smart Technology app. LSIL6332FE: Does offer Air Fry, but it lacks the Air Fry Tray and Temp Probe. It also lacks some of the advanced smart features like ThinQ® Smart Technology, which means less connectivity compared to the 6336FE. Oven Modes: LSIL6336FE: Includes a wider selection of oven modes, such as Air Sous-Vide, Frozen Meal, and ProBake Convection®, for more advanced cooking options. LSIL6332FE: While still offering versatile cooking modes like Convection Bake and Self Clean, it doesn't include the Air Sous-Vide or Frozen Meal options, which are available on the 6336FE. Smart Features and Connectivity: LSIL6336FE: Offers full ThinQ® Smart Technology integration, allowing remote control via the LG ThinQ® app and compatibility with Google Assistant and Alexa for voice control. LSIL6332FE: Has limited connectivity features compared to the 6336FE, though it still offers SmartDiagnosis™. Price Difference: The LSIL6336FE is priced higher due to its ProBake Convection®, Smart Features, Air Fry Tray, and advanced cooking modes, offering a more premium and connected cooking experience. The LSIL6332FE offers great performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in the 6336FE, which accounts for the price difference. Conclusion: The LSIL6336FE is a more advanced model, with additional smart features, more cooking modes, and better convection technology, making it ideal for those looking for a high-tech and versatile cooking experience. The LSIL6332FE, while still a great option, is more basic and focused on essential cooking functions, making it a more budget-friendly choice. • QuestionIs this range picky about the size of the pan that goes on the burner? I’ve heard some induction ranges will switch off the burner if the pan is not an exact match. And how big are the burners?

    Asked by Elements.

    • Answer We have not found it to be super picky but you do want to roughly match the sizes to get the most efficient cooking. The burners are about 10.5, 8, 6.5 (x2) inches in diameter.nAs an example, the bottom of our teakettle is about 5.5 inches and it works fine on the 6.5 inch burner.

  • QuestionAccording to the manufacturer, this product contains PFAS. Which parts have PFAS?

    Asked by John.

    • Answer Thank you for reaching us regarding LG Range. The LG LSIL6336FE range does not contain any parts with PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) chemicals. The information about PFAS is related to LG cookware products, not the LSIL6336FE range. • QuestionDoes this range require a three or four prong cord and outlet?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer It uses a 50-amp 4-prong plug. The plug has three vertical prongs and one ground. I paid an electrician $1,200 to run this special type of line from my circuit breaker and through the back of my cupboards so that it could power this sweet new stove.

  • QuestionDoes this model require electrical work by an electrician and is a hood fan sufficient?

    Asked by DMCDC.

    • Answer Hi, there. Thank you for reaching out with your question. The LG Range (LSIL6336FE) model is an induction cooktop that typically does not require electrical work by an electrician for installation, as long as the appropriate power supply is already in place. However, it does require a 240V electrical connection (with a dedicated circuit), so if your kitchen isn’t already set up with that type of power, you may need to have an electrician install a proper outlet or ensure the existing wiring is compatible. As for your second question, the hood fan in your kitchen should be sufficient for venting the cooktop, as long as it is installed correctly and is rated for use with induction cooking. However, it's important to note that some induction cooktops, like the LSIL6336FE, produce less heat compared to traditional gas or electric ranges, so a standard range hood is typically more than adequate for ventilation. If you're unsure about your current hood fan's capacity, it’s always a good idea to check the specifications of both the fan and the cooktop to ensure compatibility. For more information you can download its owner's manual through this link: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-LSIL6336FE.BRSLLGA. • QuestionDoes this range have a downdraft vent?

    Asked by DOWNDRAFT.

    • Answer Hi there! Thank you for your question about the LG 30-Inch Slide-In Electric Range, model LSIL6336FE. We understand how important ventilation is when it comes to cooking. While this range does not have a built-in downdraft vent, the vents on the range are designed to vent toward the back of the cooktop. This means it can be compatible with a downdraft ventilation system if one is installed properly. It's important to ensure that the downdraft system is correctly set up and meets the necessary specifications to ensure optimal performance. https://www.lg.com/us/cooking-appliances/lg-lsil6336fe-slide-in-electric-range#pdp_specs If you need further assistance or have additional questions, feel free to reach out to us on social media at @LGUSSupport. • QuestionIs the height adjustable to 36 inches?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Hi there. Thank you for reaching out with your question about the LG 6.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Slide-In Electric Induction True Convection Range with EasyClean and Air Fry, model LSIL6336FE. We understand your inquiry and are happy to assist! The height of this range is 36 1/2 inches and is not adjustable. However, the cut-out height required for installation is 36 inches, which allows for a slight tolerance when placing it into your kitchen setup. • QuestionAre silicone mats needed to keep the top from scratching?

    Asked by Jaci.

    • Answer Not in my experience. I have used this stove regularly for three months without a silicone mat, and have not had any scratches yet. The Schott Ceran glass seems to be a premium high-strength cooktop surface. I think the glass is easier to wipe spills off than a silicone mat as well. Finally, the silicone mat can melt a little if you accidentally heat up an empty pot on it.

  • QuestionCan I omit the rear filler plate?

    Asked by John.

    • Answer Yes. You don't need it. At first I added the plate using the two included screws, then I removed the louvered filler plate because I was able to slide the range further back, so that the small gap between parts of the range and the back of my counter is invisible from cooking positions, and pretty small even when viewed from directly above. I wanted to get the stove as far back as possible, since it protrudes a bit from my counter.

  • QuestionThe specs note that there is 1 Radiant Element "specialty element." What does this do, and how is different from the UltraHeat 4.3kW 2-in-1 Dual Element in the LSIL6336F?

    Asked by DodgerBlue22.

    • Answer The LG 6.3 cu. Ft. Smart Induction Slide-in Range with InstaView®, ProBake Convection®, Air Fry, and Air Sous Vide, Model # LSIL6336FE, features four Induction elements and a Radian element (Element # 5). Induction elements use electromagnetic energy instead of electric heating coils or gas burners to directly heat your cookware—and only your cookware. Induction is about 5-10% more energy-efficient than radiant electric cooktops and about 3 times more efficient than gas. A radiant element, also known as a ceramic or glass cooktop element, uses radiant heat to cook food. The heating element is located beneath the cooktop's surface and heats up the cookware. This range oven also features an UltraHeat™4.3kW element (Element # 2), which is an induction element for rapid boiling and true simmering...^Ivan.
