Our specially designed induction cooktops offer exceptional power, precision, and responsiveness for fast, efficient heating and even cooking. Induction technology directly heats your cookware—and only your cookware—for greater energy efficiency, safer usage, and easier cleanup than gas or electric cooktops. Our red LED indicator bars display the power level of each element for easy monitoring.

Safer Operation and Easy Cleanup (Induction)

Because induction uses electromagnetic energy to heat only your induction-compatible cookware, and not the cooktop itself, fire hazards and risk of burns are reduced for a safer experience. And since the cooktop remains cool, drips and splatters won’t burn onto the surface, allowing for easier cleanup.

Automatic Cookware Detection (Induction)

Using sensors beneath the surface, activated cooking elements only operate when compatible cookware of the appropriate size is detected within the cooking zone. If cookware is not added, or is removed from an active element, the element will deactivate after one minute.

Cookware Compatibility Indicator

How well your cookware heats on an induction element depends on several factors, such as the cookware's size, material, and shape of its base. Our cooktop is equipped with a built-in Cookware Compatibility Indicator, which rates cookware and element compatibility on a scale from 0 to 10, to help you optimize the power output and performance of each element and maximize energy efficiency.

ProBake Convection

LG ProBake Convection brings pro technology home with a combined two-speed fan and ultra-powerful rear heating element. The oven mode automatically selects the lower speed for delicate baking or the higher speed for air frying and roasting. The result is faster preheating, quicker cooking and more even baking on multiple racks at the same time. And with no bottom heating element, cleaning up baked-on spills and splatters is much easier¹.
