  • QuestionI like this range but HATE the curved handle on the oven door. Besides the aesthetics of it, they are also harder to keep clean. Is there a way to change it out or upgrade it to something more square/less ugly?

    Asked by GeorgiaShopper.

    • Answer Hello there, Georgia. Thank you for sharing your experience with your LG LSIL6336FE. We understand your situation and appreciate your candid feedback regarding the curved handle on the oven door. This handle is an integral part of the design, engineered to complement the overall sleek aesthetic and functionality of your range, which means it isn’t designed to be replaced or upgraded with a different style. As a troubleshooting step to help with the cleaning aspect, we recommend taking advantage of LG’s Easy Clean and Self-Clean features. For example, using the Easy Clean cycle can help loosen light oils and grease, making it easier to wipe away buildup with just water and a soft sponge. For heavier soils, you might consider running the Self-Clean cycle to thoroughly burn off residue. These cleaning solutions are designed to make maintenance easier without compromising the design integrity of your appliance. • QuestionDoes this model also have the sous-vide function?

    Asked by Laz630.

    • Answer An "air sous-vide" mode which allegedly cooks food at a constant low temp. Haven't tried yet, but hard to imagine it will be as good as our Joule. But hey, I hope it works for yogurt...

  • Questionis air-fry no preheat?

    Asked by doyle.

    • Answer NO, I think they're lying or my stove is broken. It takes quite a while for the air-fry to heat to a safe level for cooking meat (above 350). I'd say at least 10 minutes. 15 for 450. I tried calling tech support and spent a while on tech support trying to get an answer before I was disconnected. The tech support person didn't seem to have any training or any general knowledge about ovens.

  • QuestionDoes this model have a bridge element between two of the burners for using it as a griddle?

    Asked by Brian.

    • Answer I wish that the LG customer service person who responded could tell me where in the manual it says it has a bridge element because I do not see that anywhere and I think they’re wrong.

  • QuestionDoes the oven have a bread proofing setting?

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer I have the same question and reading the manual it clearly describes the proofing option and the temp will be 92F. I have no idea what the previous answer was going on about.
