This is our first induction range and it is really an amazing appliance. It has so many features and the induction cooking is so much more precise and responsive than previous gas and electric models. We absolutely love our new range. We bought it based on consumer reports recommendation and we are not disappointed. There is a learning curve to using the stove top but it was a quick process and the results have been many more delicious meals. There is a cool feature to determine the compatibility of your cookware (hold control lock + the # of induction burner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aqFZ7ahnrQ) on a 1 - 10 scale that was super helpful when getting started. There are so many feature we are still learning about but so far this is by far the best range we have ever used. 100% recommended.

At first I thought it was a nice stove. The cooktop works well, was quiet, and easy to clean. When I got around to using the oven I realized how difficult it is to see the settings on the panel since they are done with gray lettering on a black background. I certainly want to bend over using my cell phone flashlight every I bake. This was a poor design detail I could not live with. Best Buy was great about the return.

I did months of research, trying to decide between induction, running a gas line, or just settling for an upgraded electric cooktop. We finally decided to make the leap into induction, and I haven't regretted it. 6 qts of water can boil in a matter of minutes. I specifically chose this model because of the knobs vs. Touch controls, but thats just my preference. Sure, there's a learning curve, and you may need to buy new pots and pans, which may involve even more of a learning curve, but this cooktop has been great. The oven works great too, and heats quickly. Our old oven had heat escaping from somewhere, so I suppose anything would be a massive improvement there. I love that I can set the oven to heat remotely if I choose to, for someone who likes to make a lot of pizza on a baking steel, the ability to get adequately up to temp is a big deal. My kids are obsessed with the fact that you can knock on the glass to turn the light on/off.
