Vanessa's answer didn't answer the question. She simply copy/pasted it from the LG database. The rack she described is not the one that came with the oven. As can be seen from the attached photo there are no glides. This is clearly a feature that was changed or added for this oven without updating the database and oven manual. No one at LG appears to know the answer to this simple question.

Hi, this can be used as a regular rack, The Offset Rack provides a stable surface for cookware inside the oven and contains glides on both sides of tray to easily slide tray in and out of oven for better access to oven contents, this provides a stable surface for cookware inside the oven. ^Vanessa
