From my understanding it IS a 10bit panel, but the HDRpro feature is more like a simulated HDR. There are 3 modes: low, mid, high. It is able to playback HDR content just without true HDR I guess. For the money - this TV is in the right spot I think when considering HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The LG website says it indeed does have HDR. Hmm. Who is correct?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is in my living room waiting to be opened for Christmas. It says HDRpro on the box. It definitely has HDR. However it's not high end HDR like Sony has. It's also 300 to 400 dollars cheaper at the moment. You gotta weigh that out for yourself
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It says on the box HDR PRO. Which supports both of the HDR versions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm actually really confused about this. The box says "hdr pro" but this site doesn't mention it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. This does have HDR 10. This is Best Buy's exclusive model that is the 60uh6030 on the LG website.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the TV does not have HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This TV does NOT have HDR; the price point is much too low for HDR. Most 55"+ HDR TVs will run $1K+. 4K is the buzzword in the industry and simply means more pixels (2160p vs 1080p). HDR gives you a higher contrast ratio, which will give you more shades in colors (better looking picture). With 4K TVs (non-HDR) you will still get an amazing picture. Try looking at a regular 1080p program at 1ft away (blurry) and then a 4K program at 1ft away (no blur). HDR 4K TVs are the future so if you can afford one then go ahead, but I am sure that something will come out in the next year that will bring the price down on HDR TVs as well.
