A:AnswerYou will notice MANY TVs that are 4K LED with different companies having multiple models that are low end and high end. This has to do with other factors that create BETTER picture quality. Some TVs will have LED only around the edges of the TV while other have LED all over the panel (edge lit vs full array local dimming). The latter is more expensive as it uses more LEDs. Other TVs have faster processors which can decrease input lag time and refresh rates (for video games and diminishing the look of "ghosting" or trailing images). Some will have robust apps while other do not. That being said, it is easy to say 4K ULTRA HD to people and trick them into thinking the TV has GREAT picture quality when it really does not. 4K means it just has MORE LINES on the screen. Consumers don't do enough research or care enough about specifics. They see 4K and a low price and think they are getting a great deal (when in essence you can have a 1080p high end TV produce a better quality picture than a low end 4K).

A:AnswerIf you haven't done it already, call Dish and upgrade to the hopper 3. It's the only one that does 4K video. Any channel that is HD currently is actually 4K but will not displayed in 4k unless you have the hopper 3. When you call, don't give in to their sales pitch. Their website says free of charge, but they still tried to charge me. I said no, then they said 2 year contract, said no to that, too. It works.
A:AnswerThe LG - 60" Class (59.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black, Model # 60UH6035 is a dual voltage TV (100~240Vac, 50~60Hz) so using it in another country that uses 220-240 V is not an issue. What is an issue is that the TV has 3 built-in tuners (an ATSC, NTSC-M and 64 & 256 QAM tuner) and these tuners will not work with Television Broadcasts Systems that are not the same as that used in the U.S. There used to be the NTSC, PAL and SECAM Analog TV Broadcast Systems used in the world until late 2010. Now the Digital Broadcast Systems used around the world are ATSC, DVB, ISDB and DTMB. The U.S. uses ATSC...^IFV
