• If you haven't done it already, call Dish and upgrade to the hopper 3. It's the only one that does 4K video. Any channel that is HD currently is actually 4K but will not displayed in 4k unless you have the hopper 3. When you call, don't give in to their sales pitch. Their website says free of charge, but they still tried to charge me. I said no, then they said 2 year contract, said no to that, too. It works.

• I use the settings from this site. Takes a while but worth it. Make sure you know what type of signal is going into the tv. If it is just standard def or straight coax signal, it will look bad regardless. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/uh6100/settings
