“Do I need to buy 4K HDMI to connect this TV to the PS4 and soundbar?”

No a standard HDMI cable will work. And PS4 dosent put out a 4k signal. So save your money.

In the past I would say spending more money on brand named cables was not needed, but with newer technologies like 4K, I would say "yes" - you'll see better performance on gaming consoles and TV in general. Non-4K HDMI cables are usually V1.3. You will also need the newer V1.4 for many 4K-complaint Satellite or Cable receivers (I found this out through trial and error).
