“The room I am buying for is in the sun all day, will this keep it cool? My current unit does not work well enough to even get the room cool”

This unit is designed to cool 260 sq. ft. for temperature control. We would recommend having an awning over the air conditioner so the sun is not directly hitting the unit. ^CP
