As indicated in the title, the LG 6,000 BTU 115V Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control - White, Model # LW6017R has a voltage rating of 115V. The owner's manual says it must be plugged into a standard 3-wire grounding receptacle rated 125 VAC protected by a 15 Amp time-delay fuse or a 15 Amp. circuit breaker. You'll often hear voltages in your home referred to as 110V, 115V, or 120V. This can be confusing but the bottom line is they are referring to the exact same thing. In the U.S. 120V is the AC voltage on a single hot wire in your home with respect to neutral (or ground). 125V means that is the maximum voltage the receptacle can stand at its rated amperage...^IFV
