It will obstruct the TV if a soundbar is placed in front of it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Probably not, using the stand my tv is only about an inch and a half above the cabinet. I guess if you find something super low profile it could work. I’m thinking of getting some sort of platform to use myself if I decide to get a sound bar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You said there was a space of 2.48 in. between the bottom of the panel of the tv and the surface the stand sits on. Is that accurate? The specs show that the product height to be 34.2 inches with the stand, and 32.7 inches without the stand. That would be a difference of 1.5 inches.

Whether a Soundbar will sit infront of the LG BX 65 inch Class 4K Smart OLED TV w/ AI ThinQ® (64.5'' Diag), Model # OLED65BXPUA or not will depend on the height of the Soundbar. The LG Magic Remote that comes as an included accessory with the TV is a Bluetooth device so it does not require a line of sight like an infrared remote does and will operate as long as you point the remote in the direction of the TV. The Magic Remote has Intuitive Mouse Like Pointing and as long as you see the cursor on the TV screen, you can operate the TV. The is a space of 2.48" between the bottom of the panel on the TV and the surface on which it is installed...^IFV
