The TV dimensions with the stand are 56.9"W x 35"H x 11.2"D and without the stand are 56.9"W x 32.7"H x 0.8"D. So we drilled smaller pre holes into the wood wall studs, then we drilled the screws it came with to the wall mount bracket to the wooden wall studs. Make sure it's level with a leveler. It comes with instructions, also check YouTube. TV is heavy, it took two people to install. And depending on how far away you sit away from the tv matters on how high the bottom of your 65 inch should be off the floor. I sit rather close so I prefer a low tv height around 4 feet ,for example . Check online for your tv mounting height.
