“Does the remote have IR ability to reach components (receiver, cable box, etc.) not in direct line of sight with my TV? I have set up where my components are in a separate location about 15 feet away from TV. Will this remote work for that?”

• Yes, you don’t need. A direct line of sight. I just bounced it off a wall in a different room

• The "Magic" remote is RF based and most likely not compatible with many devices, and definitely not IR controlled items.
