Not sure why Best Buy person said to buy a traditional wall mount. The "G" in the the model name stands for "Gallery" it is meant to 
use the built in wall mount that comes with the TV, which allows it to be flush mounted against the wall like a large frame picture.
If that was not your intension then you should have bought the "LX" version of this series and save yourself approx $700 dollars.
The LX version is essentially the same TV in quality and features.
