• Yes, as long as you are using the supplied water splitter that allows you to connect the washer and drier to the cold water connection

• Yes the water line is teed off of the cold line used for the washer so it will work at the same time as the washer.

• If you are asking if this can be used as a two-in-one washer/dryer... not really. The steam option only lasts ~10 minutes. It does put some moisture into the machine but not enough to wash clothes.

• No, steam option does not wash away any dirt or sweat. Everything stays in clothes. This dryer in question also does not steam in most of the cycles. If you are lucky to get steam out, you can use a clean cloth along with your dirty cloth, so the dirt and sweat gets equally divided between the two and also your cloth gets sanitized and wrinkle free.
