Electric Dryer with Sensor Dry - White, Model # DLE6100W, or when was the last time you had them cleaned? A blocked or dirty vent duct won't necessarily stop the dryer from producing heat initially, but it restricts airflow, causing the trapped hot, moist air to trigger internal safety mechanisms. This often causes the heating element to cycle off prematurely, or it can permanently trip the safety thermal fuse, resulting in a cold dryer. The dryer features LG's FlowSense™ Duct Clogging Indicator which is LG's FlowSense™ Duct Clogging Indicator is a built-in diagnostic system that monitors airflow and detects blockages in your dryer vent. It uses visual bars on the control panel and specific error codes (d80, d90, and d95) to warn you when the venting is restricted, helping to improve energy efficiency and reduce the risk of dryer fires. If the Flow Sense™ indicator lights up during the drying cycle, you either have a blockage in your ductwork due to lint buildup or other foreign objects, and you need to have it checked/cleaned immediately, or your exhaust system is too long or has too many turns/restrictions, and will need to install a shorter or straighter duct run. Instructions for the above-mentioned issues can be found in the dryer's manual...^Ivan.
