“I see what appears to be vents in the back of the dryer (other than the actual dryer vent). Do these vents require additional space between the appliance and wall to function effectively? Is there a recommended clearance?”

I have about 10 inches of space between mine. Tbh you probably just neef a small gap of like 5 in. It also helps to be able to havs easy access to clean when needed
