The only part of the control panel that lights up is the display that shows the settings, estimated time remaining, options, and status messages for the dryer. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recently acquired the same machine. The lighting of the panel varies according to which setting you set for the dryer. I recommend you switch the power on the machine on and off, and then try the other settings (e.g bedding, normal etc). If that doesn't work, then you need to call Best Buy to indicate that your recent purchase from them is defective. I have found them to be very responsive.
