Hi Cindy1. The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 7.4 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Smart wi-fi Enabled SteamDryer™, Model # DLEX3700V does not have a steam feeder that has to be filled manually with water for the steam functions. IT has a water inlet valve in the back of the dryer that you have to connect to your cold water supply line with the supplied "Y" connector and supplied hoses...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My install guys didn’t connect the steam hoses. Is there a plug that needs to be removed from the water outlet on the dryer begore attaching the hose? It looks lije theres a white plug in mine. I have same model
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It needs to be hooked to a cold water supply. The sales associate should have explained that, and sold you the water connection kit when you purchased it. The kit simply attaches to the washing machine water supply.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It needs to be hooked up to a water line. The dryer should have come with the splitter and hoses necessary to connect it to the cold water going to your washing machine. Alternatively, if you want stainless braided hoses you can buy a kit. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our dryer was attached to the water line. The dryer is to the right of our washer and they used a Y-connection hose, I think, to connect the dryer to the same water intake line that connects to the washer. I had asked for them to do the connection when I purchased it. You may need to get a plumber to do it unless you or someone you know is handy with those sorts of things.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has to have a water line connected to use the steam function
