“We have to have a 240v socket installed for this dryer. What is the configuration of the prongs on the plug provided?”

When I purchased this dryer it states it comes with a power cord but your saying that it doesnt? I have hard wired these in before so no big deal if it doesnt but Im in renovation stages in my home and the dryer is going to be delivered next month and I want to make sure I have the proper set up for wiring there. So does this unit come with a plug and if so what does the plug look like? 4 prong or 3?

This dryer does not come with a power cord. The dryer has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR THE DRYER SHOULD BE OF THE MAXIMUM RATE VOLTAGE LISTED ON THE NAMEPLATE. DO NOT CONNECT THE DRYER TO 110-, 115-, OR 120-VOLT CIRCUIT. ^Daphane
