“Whenever I unplug an HDMI cable, the name that I assigned to that input resets. How do I get it to stop doing this? Sometimes I need to temporarily plug something else in, and this is incredibly inconvenient.”

• This would be normal operation. Depending on the device being connected, the tv will automatically reset the name to the connected deviced. This would not be able to be deactivated. ^ Jamal
