No, you need the Direct TV remote for direct TV...

However, you can use a built-in web browser on your LG TV to stream DirecTV Stream. Alternatively, you can Cast or AirPlay DirecTV Stream from your Android or iPhone to the TV. Other than that, you can install the DirecTV Stream app on a compatible streaming device and connect it to your LG TV to watch it. You cannot use the LG Magic Remote because it does not have the Direct TV codes. ~Rita
