Q: QuestionWhat’s the difference between the LG C 3 tv and G 2 tv.
Asked by Curious.
- A:Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG OLED evo C3 77 inch 4K Smart TV 2023 (OLED77C3PUA) model. The LG C3 and G2 are both high-end OLED TVs with 4K resolution, HDR support, Dolby Atmos, and 120Hz native refresh rate. They both use webOS smart platform and offer VRR. But, the G2 has a heat sink that makes its panel brighter than other OLED TV. While, the C3 has OLED evo technology that improves its brightness and contrast. Moreover, C3 is powered by the α9 AI Processor Gen6, G2 has the α9 Gen4 AI Processor. The picture quality of both TVs is excellent, and the choice depends on your preferences. Q: QuestionPurchased this tv and am wondering what the odd accessories are that came with it. Screws? For what? An odd headphone looking thing with 3m attachments and 2 plastic "fasteners"?
Asked by Wanda.
- A:Answer The cable with the 3.5mm jack is an IR blaster. It helps you control older set top boxes and other equipment not otherwise compatable with your universal remote. I believe the eight bolts are for mountimg the stand to the tv. I'm not positive, though, as mine is wall mounted. The grey plastic pieces are for cable management behind your tv.

Q: QuestionWhat does the evo mean ? Notice some are OLED and others are followed by evo
Asked by Metalman.
- A:Answer In LG's OLED TV lineup, "evo" refers to a specific panel technology designed to enhance brightness and color performance compared to standard OLED displays. Here’s a breakdown of what "evo" means and how it differs: What is OLED evo? Improved Brightness: OLED evo panels are engineered to produce higher peak brightness levels, making the picture more vibrant and easier to see in well-lit rooms. This addresses a common limitation of traditional OLED displays, which tend to perform better in darker environments. Better Color Accuracy: The evo panels are also designed for more precise color reproduction, making images look more lifelike and immersive. Durability: LG often includes refinements to materials in evo panels that enhance performance and longevity, such as better resistance to burn-in. Exclusive to Higher-End Models: OLED evo is typically reserved for LG’s premium TVs, such as the C and G series (starting with the LG C2 and G1 models). Standard OLED vs. OLED evo Standard OLED TVs offer excellent picture quality with perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and vivid colors. However, their brightness levels are generally not as high as those of LED or mini-LED TVs. OLED evo TVs build on this foundation by incorporating new materials or panel technologies to push brightness levels higher, making them ideal for rooms with more ambient light. In short, if you’re considering an LG TV and see "evo" in the name, it signifies that the TV features LG’s latest advancements in OLED technology for improved brightness and performance. It’s a step up from standard OLED but maintains all the benefits OLED is known for.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the B4 and the C3? Is the C3 worth the extra $300?
Asked by Faye10.
- A:Answer Hi, there, Faye. When comparing the LG OLED77B4PUA (B4) and LG OLED77C3PUA (C3) models, here are the primary differences: Picture Processor: OLED77C3PUA: Uses the advanced α9 AI Processor Gen6, which delivers enhanced AI Picture Pro technology, better AI upscaling, and improved overall image processing. OLED77B4PUA: Equipped with the α8 AI Processor 4K, which is a step down from the α9 processor and offers slightly less effective AI enhancements. Upscaling: OLED77C3PUA: Features AI Super Upscaling 4K, providing superior upscaling for non-4K content. OLED77B4PUA: Uses the α8 AI Super Upscaling 4K, which, while still effective, isn’t as refined as the one on the C3. Sound: OLED77C3PUA: Comes with AI Sound Pro (Virtual 9.1.2 Up-mix), delivering a richer and more immersive audio experience, plus compatibility with Dolby Atmos. OLED77B4PUA: Features α8 AI Sound Pro, with a 2.0 channel speaker system and support for Dolby Atmos. However, the sound quality is generally less immersive than that of the C3. HDMI Ports: Both models have four HDMI 2.1 ports, but the C3 includes features like improved eARC capabilities for higher quality sound transmission. Smart Features: OLED77C3PUA: Runs on webOS 23 with a refined interface and supports more advanced AI features and hands-free voice control. OLED77B4PUA: Operates on webOS 24, offering a slightly updated interface and features but lacks some of the enhanced capabilities found in the C3. Build and Design: Both models have an ultra-slim design suitable for wall mounting, but the C3's build quality is generally more refined, with a more polished and elegant look. Power Consumption: OLED77C3PUA: Lower power consumption at 140W, with optimized energy use. OLED77B4PUA: Consumes slightly more power at 160.6W. Verdict: Is the C3 Worth the Extra $300? The LG OLED77C3PUA is generally worth the extra investment if you prioritize having a more advanced picture processor, superior AI upscaling, and enhanced audio features. The C3 also provides a better overall viewing experience with refined HDR and gaming features, making it ideal for cinephiles and gamers. If you’re budget-conscious or using the TV for more standard content, the OLED77B4PUA still offers excellent OLED picture quality with deep blacks and vibrant colors, but it does miss some of the advanced processing and upscaling capabilities. Ultimately, if image processing and sound quality matter significantly to you, go for the C3. Otherwise, the B4 remains a fantastic value choice. Q: QuestionI am considering replacing my existing Samsung TV with an 77" LG C3 TV. I have alot of natural light that comes into my family room where my current Samsung. Will the LG - 77" Class C3 Series OLED 4K UHD perform well in a room with alot of natural light?
Asked by RoomwithAlotofNaturalLight.
- A:Answer It really does. Our living room windows (floor to ceiling) directly face the TV screen. With our old TV, the glare was so much that it was difficult to watch during the time of day when the sunlight was strongest. With the C3, it is practically unnoticeable.

Q: QuestionWILL THE LG 77" C3 WORK WITH MY ANCIENT SONY SOUND SYSTEM ( DAV-DZ555K/DZ556KB ) ??????
Asked by LAGRINGAPELIROJA.
- A:Answer Honestly, I don't know. We purchased a Sonos surround sound system to match what we felt was the quality of the new tv we purchased. We had older sound systems but felt that based on the age, the technology wouldn't match up really well.
