    Vivid Amazing Picture

    The picture quality is so amazing and vivid! Some of the things I watch are darker and I’ve always had issues viewing them but I can watch them even in a room with sunlight with no problem

    ​Natural Colors and Perfect Balance

    Setup & First Impressions Setting up the TV was straightforward and took about 15 minutes, though you do have to click through two very long Sony user agreements. Coming from a Samsung QN90, my first impression when watching content was that the picture seemed dim, despite the TV's high brightness capabilities. However, once I started dialing in the settings, everything clicked. Transitioning to Cinema mode was incredibly helpful for adjusting from the overly bright out-of-the-box settings to a more accurate, dimmer picture that is closer to the original film. ​Picture Quality & Motion The picture quality is fantastic, and the motion handling is a standout. Even with motion smoothing set to high for sports, the dreaded "soap opera effect" is practically non-existent. ​Color & Brightness Where the Sony really shines is in its balance. The colors are incredibly natural—especially compared to my previous Samsung, which tended to hit you with punch-in-the-face color saturation. The BRAVIA 7 gets plenty bright, but it’s a refined brightness that doesn’t just sear your eyes. Instead of blasting you with light, the brightness and color work together beautifully. ​Audio & Connectivity I tested the built-in TV speakers and they do a fine job on their own. However, I am using it paired with my Vizio Elevate soundbar system, as I prefer a dedicated soundbar over built-in TV speakers any day. ​The only real negative I've found with this TV is the lack of HDMI 2.1 ports. It only comes with two, and since one of them is the eARC port used by my soundbar, that leaves just one high-speed port available. Luckily, I only have an Xbox Series X that actually needs to take advantage of that port, so it works out perfectly for my setup, but it’s something to keep in mind if you have multiple newer gaming consoles. ​Overall Verdict This is a great TV with a wonderful balance between color accuracy and refined brightness. It doesn't just punch you in the face with over-saturation. When set to Professional mode, it truly looks like you are watching a movie exactly as it should be seen.

    Great TV, if you can stomach the price

    This is one of the best TVs I have owned so far. The built in OS is quick and responsive, and I haven't had any issues with it so far. The picture for native 4k streaming is amazing, and one of the few TVs I have bought where I think the quality matches the "perfect condition" demos the play in the store. The sound is good, but I am not an audio snob so I am not a good reference for this. I think it's sounds good, better than my old 10 year old Roku. The upscaling is quite nice, and I think it's one of the other strong suits for this TV. I have this in a living room and I must say that you want/need good light control with this tv. The glare from light sources bouncing is real, and if you typically watch this in a bright room without good light control, the Bravia 9 Mk2 is much brighter and has some sort of black magic glare coating on it. (but it's even more expensive!) The only reason I can think of going against this is needing to go through extra effort of you watch this in a room with lots of natural sunlight. It would be nice if it got slightly brighter to combat this.

    New to Sony

    Having come from all Samsung tvs in the past, I wasn't sure what to expect when trying a Sony Bravia tv. Reviews for any TV model/brand can be all over the place, however the Bravia 7ii was better than I was expected, and after adjusting settings for a little while, the image for regular TV and movies was exceptional. My only gripe was that the screen brightness was a little low at times, but I believe that is from ambient lighting or some Eco settings.

    Sony 65" Class Bravia 7 II

    Mind blowing picture quality. Installed the Sony 75" Class Bravia 9 II in the family room and loved it so much, that the 65" made perfect sense for the master bedroom. Complimented it with the Sony Soundbar 7, Sub 7, and Rear 8 Speakers. Beautiful, powerful combo.
