We understand that you're looking to know if the OLED77C3PUA will automatically upscale everything to 4K and whether you need to replace your receiver. The OLED77C3PUA comes equipped with AI Super Upscaling 4K, which helps enhance content to 4K resolution through the TV’s α9 AI Processor Gen6. This means that lower resolution content can be upscaled to 4K, but the quality may vary depending on the source material. It’s important to note that while the TV can upscale content, the actual 4K experience will depend on the quality of the source you're viewing. As for your receiver, if you're using a compatible HDMI 2.1 receiver that supports 4K at 120Hz and eARC (like the HDMI ports on this model), you shouldn't need to replace it for 4K content. However, if your receiver doesn’t support these features, an upgrade may be necessary to ensure you're getting the best possible picture and sound quality. We recommend checking the specifications of your receiver to make sure it aligns with the capabilities of the OLED77C3PUA for an optimal experience. https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-oled77c3pua-oled-4k-tv#pdp_specs If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to reach out to us through a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport, and our team will be happy to assist you further.
