Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any burn problems. I was told though to not watch a ton of news channels over long periods of time for the first 100 hours because those channels and the graphics they have are hardest on the OLEDs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had this 77” OLED TV for several months. I’ve been following the OLED line of sets with great anticipation ever since they came out. This is the second LG OLED set in my house as I previously bought a 55” 3D curved OLED 1080p. I have not had any image burn-in issues with either set. From my understanding with Plasma sets, you’d have to have a static image present for a constant prolonged length of time, but that was with Plasma. But that was true even with the CRT televisions we all grew up with. These OLED sets are as advanced as I’ve ever experienced, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality. In short, I don’t think you have anything to worry about with burn-in image retention.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have only had the tv for a couple of weeks but have not had any issues. Its an amazing television. I recommend getting the LG sound bar as well which makes the experience that much better. Enjoy!
