• I replaced my LG G3 with an unlocked LG G5. The good people at best buy took the micro-SIM out of the G3, trimmed it slightly to turn it into a nano-SIM, and placed it in my new G5. It worked great. Your G4 uses a micro-SIM, just like my G3 did. Best Buy should be able to trim it to work in a new G5.

• it should work, but the meid of the old phone will still be linked to that account and phone number. So if you ever want to move your number to another provider, you could have problems (speaking from experience). cob
