• When the phone is on speaker there is a button to boost the sound more. I have not tried it because it's plenty loud already.

• the volume has a boost button. it's better than my last 3 or 4 LG phones over the years. I always wanted the volume to go louder. so use a lot of bluetooth devices to amplify the sound such as headphones and external speakers, and car bluetooth.
