• No, the dual screen's second screen is attached to the main phone. While it is detachable from the phone, it derives it's power from the phone's USB-C port.

• You need the GX8 phone itself to power the secondary screen. You can detach the phone from the second screen, it's not programmed to the phone so if you use a different GX8 it will still work. All of the settings for the second screen is available once attached and you use the phone to change how it functions.
