“I spoke with Best Buy today and not only did they say that the Lg8x dual-screen case is unavailable with the purchase of the phone. They also said not a single store will carry a display of the phone. What's the point, LG! Could someone clarify?”

I picked up my LG G8X from Best Buy yesterday. When I bought it (Sunday, November 24 2019) there were two stores in the area (DFW) that had one each in stock. These stores were not close to me so I ordered it on Sunday and picked it up on Tuesday at the store that is close to me. I got the G8X phone with the second screen case. FYI -- The second screen is built into a case that holds the phone too. You should be able to order it and pick it up in a store near you.
