• Go to your settings and go to display...and remove night settings.

• Make sure you have the 'Screen Settings' at the amount of time you desire. If the screen goes dark/black, double-tap the screen to continue. If the screen dims, tap the screen once, and it will automatically brighten. Also, if the screen goes dark or dims, check if your phone needs to be charged.
