How do I know which phone carrier this phone used to be from. I need to use the correct SIM card from the bring your own phone kit from my phone company null

I would suggest going to Best Buy and talking to one of their techs. My understanding is that this phone will work with all most all phone carriers.

This phone was produced as Unlocked and was never locked to a carrier. It is compatible with GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile and is also compatible with GSM SIM Kits, including Cricket Wireless, Tracfone, Net10, H2O, AT&T Prepaid and Simple Mobile. ^CP

I ended up finding out the awnswer to my own question. The LG K8 2018 is only compatable with GSM Networks so you have to use the T-Mobile or AT&T cards out of Straight Talk's Bring your own phone kit. You can not use the Verison card it will not be compatable with there towers. When you set up your phone you can switch over your service and keep your number even if you current phone is acrive. In the set up you will have to use the IMEI number as the serial number because the phone is not registered to there system. This is for Straight Talk users.
