I often have to use a flashlight to even see the control labels, let alone to read them!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only outside buttons are the stop and start buttons as well as the plus and minus buttons to set the time. The rest are hidden inside and are accessible when you open the door (which will turn on the LED lights). The only light when the unit is closed is the clock, which is pretty much the same as on other microwaves. If you have children, especially small ones that like to push buttons, the fact that most are hidden would more than likely be a plus for anyone looking at this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No outside light. Buttons are easy to see if you've got a light on in the kitchen or near the microwave. My kitchen lights are a distance from microwave and I can still see them.
