We replaced our Kenmore Elite microwave with built-in pizza oven below. Didn't want to lose the pizza drawer but at nearly 13 years old, we got plenty of good years from it. The button to open the microwave door finally gave out and was quite bulky. The microwave itself works very well and has fun jingles than your traditional beeping. If you own any LG products, you will know what to expect. The reason why I gave it 4 stars is due to the learning curve you will need to retrain the way you use your microwave if you use to a traditional microwave. I believe that LG wants you to use their "Sensor" or presets settings, as it is its main selling point. To heat your dinner plate, you would use the "Sensor Reheat" function and the microwave will be able to reheat the plate for you to what they believe it the optimal temp. Personally I believe it is too hot if you let it go the full time. It will beep with about 1 minute left and that is about my ideal temp to pull it out. What LG defines as "ideal" heating, may not be appropriate for everyone. If you want to customize the time, they make it tedious to do so. There are no numbers to manually enter the time to heat up whatever you put in the microwave, but a "+" and "-" buttons that will increase the time by 10 seconds until 3 mins. Then it will increase by 30 second increments. It moves pretty quick. This is my only complaint. Other than that, I enjoy this microwave. What sold me on this microwave is no button to push to open the door, the smart sensor, 1250 W, and the clean look. Overall, I am pleased with the microwave but it is quite the learning trying to teach a 10 year old how to operate the microwave. If you are not technologically inclined, this may not be the microwave for you.

Quality of LG Microwave is one of the Best! Found Easy to Clean and keep clean. One of the features I found of LG is the redesign of the turn-table that prevents tip overs sitting on the plate glass. The updated technology LG has to evenly cook your food is great! The other features are really great as of the lock to keep door closed door as it cooks to keep little kids from opening door...as for Power....Yes it’s there. Please Read Instructions as any new product. Smart Technology of these new microwave features awesome. The Sound it makes when done is very Clear good volume. Looks of LG Microwave from Best Buys is Great.

This microwave Replaced another one that finally gave out. I selected this one for a number of reasons. First, the size. Then I feel really good about my experience with LG products. It is also a smart contemporary Look & Design. I was considering the stainless version, but saw a white one on sale and it fit better with our kitchen. It works really well and I do like the cooking time & set up. Very clean outside and all the controls needed hidden inside a door that opens without a push button. Simply rest your fingers anywhere along the right side and a gentle pull voila it’s open. It has a large rotating glass tray that is perfect for a 14” pizza. It is quiet and has a soft audible reminder when your food is done. Classy. Lastly, 1200 Watts heat things quickly and the LED lights are bright enough to see everything while it is cooking. Works Great! It is definitely worth a look, especially with a 10 year warranty on the Magnatron & a Great sale price.

When my nine year-old microwave decided to throw in the towel, I did some quick research. This LG model was highly rated by Consumer Reports and was available at my near-by Best Buy at a reasonable price, so I ordered it online and picked it up the next day. There's no doubt that it's a good machine that does what microwaves are supposed to do. In most ways it's better than its predecessor. However, there is one design element that I REALLY don't like: the system for controlling operations has some major annoyances, in my opinion. Once you get used to the method for setting the time, it's fairly simple to take care of that, but not as easy as it was with my old machine. That one had buttons with numbers on it. It couldn't have been more intuitive! This one has a learning curve, and even after you've mastered it, it still leaves a lot to be desired. The worst part of the control design, however, is how difficult it is to see, especially in low light. Mine sits on a countertop, so I have to look down to the panel. It's not lighted, and the markings that you have to find to activate the touch-sensitive controls can be hard to find. I ended up having to mark their positions with some mailing labels cut in half. Now at least I don't have to bend down to see where I'm supposed to touch the panel to operated the timer. Sure, it's a good microwave, and if you don't think you'd be bothered by the way the panel operates, I'd recommend it. It's a nice looking machine in the kitchen, and it came at a very reasonable price.

I never thought I would be so excited about a microwave. It is beautiful and is easy to use! I was nervous about the buttons since I'm used to a numerical keypad but its easy to use. We typically only use the microwave to heat up foods, not cook them for long periods of time. The +30 sec button in the front is very useful. The sliding timer isnt hard at all. I also like the musical notes to let you know when the food is ready instead of the usual annoying beeping noise.

This small microwave is very powerful & easy to use. It occupies a small counter, but cooks everything fast & evenly.

This microwave has to be the best bang for your buck! I've yet to find any shortcomings of this unit. Very efficient and heats food quickly and most importantly evenly. The Invertor technology makes for easy reheating and defrosting. Simple to operate and easy to clean. Lastly the unit is sleek and clean design. It will look great in any kitchen!

Love this LG microwave. It plays music just like my washer and dryer. I was heated at first about the door and how the buttons work but I actually like it better than other microwaves now. It microwaves very evenly. It actually has a light inside of it so I can see through the door while my last microwave did not. It’s a bargain too.

I love this microwave! So my old microwave was super old and it would take about 7 minutes to pop a bag of popcorn lol. I decided it was time for an upgrade. I was kind of reluctant because the price tag on this thing but it was well worth the money. I went with the midsize versions of this microwave they had a smaller version & larger but my apartment isn’t too big so I made do with the 1.5cu. The buttons are inside the microwave when you open the door and I thought that was different, but the microwave itself is sleek and it even plays a cute tune when done. It comes with a one year warranty. Cooks food fast and evenly. I went with the black even though it’s a bit more expensive than the stainless steel. So far I have no complaints except that it went on sale for $30 less a week after I bought it :(

I love my new LG Neo Chef 1250 watt microwave oven. Best oven I've ever had. If you have a microwave meal that doesn't take long you can adjust the time on the microwave. The adjustments are on the inside and on the glass door on the outside. Wonderful Product!

Got this microwave to replace one that had the platter motor going out. The LG is a very sleek looking appliance. But that isn't necessarily a good thing in that you have limited options on front: Stop/Cancel; Start/Add 30 seconds and a timer slider that adds time in 5 second intervals up to 1 minute. So as nice as numeric entry pad but 5 seconds intervals is close enough. Plus with the sensor the oven monitors the cooking. So not a big deal. Open the door and you'll find Sensor Cook, Sensor Reheat, Power Level, Popcorn, Timer, "+/-". Clear and Enter. You press the Sensor Cook or Sensor Reheat to set the automatic function - each press moves the number up one from 1 to 5. There is a label on the top of the door jamb to tell you what number you want for basic items. I have found that the times are a bit conservative, so I usually have to add another minute. Some reviews say the little jingle it plays about a minute before cooking is complete then once it's done and every minute or so after until the door is opened. Personally, I don't find it that annoying. The hexagonal support ring seems like more of a gimmick but it seems to work. So overall it's a nice microwave that isn't too big and looks good.

We owned an earlier model (LCRT1513ST) of this Microwave and it lasted for 8 years and worked well. This unit (LMC1575ST) is even better. It heats food more evenly. and its turntable ring provides more support for stability. The three wheels on the prior model wore out after a few years...but the new ring has three wheels PLUS three support columns and so hopefully will last longer. The new model uses musical notes for notification, similar to our LG washing machine. It is possible to turn off the alerts (see Youtube), but my wife likes them. The new unit has some sort of coating on the interior that seems to make it easier to clean. That is a big plus! The interior lamp is an LED, but is not any brighter than the incandescent one on the old unit...so not that useful for checking on the food. There are a number of pre-selects, such as for popcorn, defrosting, etc. Wish they had one for softening icecream! Note: The door on the new unit is 3-1/2 inches wider than the prior model, so check that you have clearance. Putting it up on wooden blocks solved our tight space issue and made putting stuff into it easier.

I had an Insigna that started bubbling and peeling on the panel not long after I got it and then quit working after a year.... pure garbage! I love this LG! It looks sleek in my kitchen and I love having the controls hidden behind the panel! It is kind of a pain having to keep pressing the + to get the time and power level you want but I can deal with it. The inside looks very sleek as well. I give this a 5 start rating and recommend this model for those who aren't sure which microwave to get!

Have owned for a year and a half now and has worked very well. Well lit (LED) interior. Easy to clean inside and out, with no buttons nor dials to clean around. The only draw back is that the controls can be difficult to use. Unless you use the features often they can be hard to figure out, my wife still can't do more than push the 30 second touch panel multiple times to heat something. She has no idea how too reduce the power setting nor use the slider on the front. The controls inside the door are a pain to figure out.

Perfect size, looks sleek and modern easy to use and warms up food super fast

It is so sleek looking. The controls are inside. There is no handle or button to open, just an indentation on the side of door. Perfect size. It does its job of microwaving and plays a little tune instead of an annoying bell.

This LG microwave is fantastic! It heats food evenly with its smart sensor cooking and cleans up super easily thanks to the EasyClean feature. The stainless steel finish also adds a sleek touch to any kitchen. Totally worth it!

This microwave packs a lot of power it is super easy to use. I like the controls it has, there are also some on the outside for faster options. It doesn’t have a handle on the door which is in my opinion the best because I have had some microwaves that I have had to yank really hard on to get open and the handles always seem to break. So far I have no complaints.
