A:AnswerI dont think its that loud, my Panasonic i had before was loud drawn out beep We live in a duplex and this is not that loud for the neighbors to hear. We asked them and they didnt hear anything. I think its a pleasant sound and it doesnt last that long anyways. I appreciate that i can hear it if i am the other room and will do a reminder if i forget to get the food out but then thats it, it wont keep doing it. I can think of a lot more things that are noisy that are more annoying like running the vac cleaner. So my opionion, nah i think its fine.
A:AnswerThis is the latest neochef 2.0 model. I verified it with my sales person at the store. I had the same question as you. I guess it was an oversight on Best Buy's part. That they do not list it on their in-store description as a neochef. Mine was factory-fresh it was actually just made September 6th and I just bought it on Friday October 12th. They are selling very quickly in my area. Most stores only have a couple left in stock. And the two large nationally known home improvement stores were actually out of stock and we're not going to get more until sometime in November. Just an FYI.

A little plastic piece that holds the top right hinge hole of the button broke. I actually heard it pop although the microwave was not in use at the time.
