The normal cycle is designed for washing the following article types: Lightly soiled cotton, t-shirts, towels, jeans, mixed loads. This would be a great setting to wash rags with. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.you don't have to use it for only delicates, but it doesn't have a spin speed as high as the full sized washer. Rags and other non-delicates are okay, but they will come out more damp than if you ran them in the large washer, because of the lower spin speed. I probably wouldn't use it for full sized towels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manual says you can load up to 7lbs. That equates to 4 large bath towels. We regularly use the pedistal washer to do any super small loads. As long as you don't stuff it full or load past the lower part of the lid your fine. Items should loosely fit in unit. I also recommend leaving The lid open to let the unit air dry when your finished or else the stagnant moisture starts to stink a little. I absolutely love my pedistal sidekick
