• No, the LG Sidekick Pedestal washer cannot be used as a stand alone unit. It must be installed underneath a compatible LG washing machine. ^CP

• I don’t think it’ll work without the washer. I have to push the pedestal washer in under the main washer in order for it to run. You would not need to get the dryer for either washer to work.
