Not easily. The unit is heavy. We decided not to get the pedestal and had a built pedestal to place out set on. Past experience with the pedestal and shifting while running and some difficulty moving at least the washer made it difficult. Without the pedestal out does move OK, not easy, but we have ours in a fairly tight space, 8" built and tiled pedestal with cabinets above. Hope that helps.
