“The shelves (split/fixed) look like they can be separated, but don’t see directions on how to do that. Can anyone tell me how to do that?”

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the shelf adjustment for your LG Standard-Depth MAX 28.6 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Smart Refrigerator (LFXS29763S). To separate or adjust the split shelves, slightly lift the front of the shelf and pull it forward to clear the rear locking hooks. Once the hooks are clear, you can tilt the shelf and remove it or relocate it to a different rail height. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They come apart pretty easily. Take the entire shelf out and then you can take it apart into 2 shelves and set them up how you want. Obviously it isn't as strong if it is 1 complete shelf but it seems to be working fine for us.
