Make sure it’s at 165hz in windows settings, and check to see if the game allows other display resolutions. On Final Fantasy XIV it gives me the option to select 1440p at 144hz or 1440p at 165hz. Im also using USB-c/display port on a Asus TUF laptop with a RTX 2060 if that helps.
