• LG's answer is wrong. The speakers connect to the SPQ8 receiver via speaker wires. The receiver connects to the soundbar wirelessly.

• Regular speaker wire is used to connect the two rear speakers to a wireless module that is plugged in to a power outlet at the back of the room. The module, in turn, wirelessly connects to the sound bar located at the front of the room.
